Salt of the Earth

The People and Places of Salt Lake

A video series featuring the unique, inspirational, and creative individuals and organizations that make up the Salt Lake community. From Olympic rock-climbing athletes to thought-provoking found-object artists, from avalanche dog trainers to award-winning brewmasters, the people who choose Salt Lake as home are a true reflection of Salt Lake’s character and diversity. Institutions that promote the Greatest Snow on Earth, minority-owned businesses that bring mind-blowingly creative ideas to life, rock star-founded organizations that use the power of music to affirm the LGBTQ+ community, all are a part of Salt Lake’s social fabric. This video series demonstrates through the words of locals that Salt Lake is a place where a mixture of the traditional and progressive ideas can all thrive in one city, Salt Lake.
