Park City (home to the Sundance Film Festival), beautiful Heber Valley, Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake, and Historic 25th Street in Ogden are all within an hour’s drive of downtown.

Day 1: Salt Lake City Essentials

Afternoon: Utah State Capitol

Explore the Utah State Capitol building, which offers beautiful architecture and stunning panoramic views of the city from its hilltop location.

Drive back to Park City and take a walk down historic Main Street, filled with charming shops, art galleries, and boutiques. Don't miss the Kimball Art Center for contemporary art exhibitions.

Morning: Antelope Island State Park

Leave early for the drive to Antelope Island State Park in the Great Salt Lake, or alternately, take a guided tour. Explore the island's unique landscape and gorgeous views of the lake, search for wildlife, and visit the Antelope Island Visitor Center.
Lunch: The Bayou
