Pelicans Return to the Great Salt Lake
The Great Salt Lake: A bird-watchers paradise 🐦 Over 10 million birds, represented by 338 species, utilize the Great Salt Lake for its extensive wetlands throughout the year. Among them, our American White Pelicans made a remarkable return to Hat Island for the first time since 1943, after abandoning their nesting colony on Gunnison Island last year.
