Start with a trip to Utah's Hogle Zoo. Its 42 acres are home to 800 animals from 249 species, many exciting exhibits like the Small Animal Building and African Savanna, and several programs for kids and families. Kids aged 6 to 10, accompanied by an adult, can take a 90-minute “Lunch with a Keeper” to experience a unique animal session with a zoo educator and veterinarian or zookeeper. 

Treat the entire family to a tour of the cosmos at the Clark Planetarium. With a ton of interactive exhibits for all ages, you'll have no trouble keeping even the most bored teenager involved. Make sure to check out the IMAX theater, Cosmic Light Shows, and world-class telescopes.

Sneak in some shopping at the family-friendly Trolley Square. Watch your kids marvel as they get a taste of the Old West in this historic center made up of trolley barns constructed in 1908 to house streetcars. And don’t forget to check out all the events your whole family won’t want to miss.
