Donut Falls Trail

One of the best hikes for families with children - a great nature walk. Short, not too steep, and with a beautiful pay off at the end in the form of an unusual waterfall. Heavily trafficked family-friendly hikes with incredible mountain forest surroundings. Following a creek up a small canyon, the destination is a waterfall that cascades through a stone formation into a small grotto. The trail from the parking lot to the waterfall is short and only gains 300 feet in elevation; if you would like to add some time and distance to the hike, there is a parking lot near the main canyon road and another trailhead that joins to this trail and will add a full two miles round-trip to the hike.
