Salt Lake is a welcoming, friendly city, and serves as a bastion of progressiveness, playfulness, and pride. It’s been recognized by Advocate magazine as one of the Ten Queerest Cities in America, and holds one of the best-attended Pride parades and festivals around, with Pride Week festivities attracting tens of thousands of participants. And there are many local organizations dedicated specifically to the needs of the LGBTQ community.
