Alta Ski Area Lift Ticket Types

All Day or a Beginners Afternoon

Alta is a skiers mountain and that means amazing runs for all levels. They also know that sometimes a whole day can be too much for beginners so they offer their Sunnyside at 3 program that provides lift access to their beginners lift from 3:00 to closing (4:30 pm). It's a great way for a seasoned skier to enjoy a whole day on the mountain while beginners can take in the other mountain amenities and then grab a little bit of snow time.

Season Passes

Early season passes may be the right choice for your family adventure if you want to find the best deals and you plan ahead. A variety of season passes are available for families, seniors, adults, and kids. There's even the option for a 10-pack of days for you to ski without blackout dates across the season. Savings on season passes are usually only available before the season starts.

Daily Lift Tickets and Ticket Packs

If early season passes are not the right solution for you, Alta has a variety of daily lift ticket options. Choose from all day, the afternoon, or the late afternoon, or get the Alta-Bird pass for the full Little Cottonwood experience. Check for peak and off-peak pricing as you plan your ski days since Alta has a peak pricing schedule. If you know you want to ski a lot, check out the multi-day tickets where you can choose 2 of 3 up to 9 of 10 days.

Salt Lake Ski Super Pass

If you're looking for the ultimate Salt Lake option, the Ski Super Pass is the option you want. Choose the number of days you want to ski, from 3 to 10, and then use the pass at any of the Salt Lake Resorts that you want to ski that day. At Brighton that means an all-day ticket with both day and night skiing! No blackout dates, no limitations, and it's on sale all season until April 1.

Which resorts have night skiing?

Brighton Resort is the only Salt Lake ski resort that has night skiing.

Which Salt Lake resort is best for families or advanced skiers?

Salt Lake Ski Super Pass FAQs

Do I Need anything besides the Salt Lake Ski Super pass to access the resorts each day?

No. The Salt Lake Ski Super Pass is all you need to buy for access to one of the 4 Salt Lake Resorts for each day you have purchased. You will need to activate it at each day at Brighton and Solitude and verify it is active at Snowbird and Alta, but you do not need to purchase anything extra.

The only extra cost will be if you decide to upgrade to the Alta-Bird ticket to access both Alta and Snowbird on the same day.
