Get ready, Utah! Snowbird’s Oktoberfest is returning for its 52nd year, and it’s set to be the best one yet. From Aug. 10 to Oct. 13, 2024, Snowbird will transform into a Bavarian wonderland every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day. With expanded offerings, a larger footprint, and a refreshed look, this year's Oktoberfest promises more fun, food, and festivity than ever before.

Bavarian Delights and Beer Galore

This year, Oktoberfest is stepping up its game. Picture yourself savoring traditional Bavarian dishes like Jaeger Schnitzel and Bratwursts, or perhaps trying an Oktoberfest-inspired Flammekueche Pizza. And let's not forget the beer! With over 50 varieties, including the special Save the Lake Pilsner from Salt Flats Brewing, your taste buds are in for a treat. Plus, a portion of the proceeds from the Pilsner will support conservation efforts for the Great Salt Lake. So, you can drink up and feel good about it!

More Space, More Vendors, More Fun

Der Marktplatz, the vibrant vendor village, is expanding to give you even more space to explore. Each weekend will feature a rotating selection of vendors, ensuring a fresh and dynamic shopping experience every time you visit. From unique crafts to delicious treats, there’s something for everyone.

New for 2024: Brewer’s Dinner Series

Introducing the Brewer's Dinner Series, a brand-new event that’s sure to become a fan favorite. On select Fridays, take an Aerial Tram ride to Hidden Peak for an educational beer tasting, paired with a gourmet meal and live music at The Summit, the highest restaurant in Utah. It’s the perfect blend of education, gastronomy, and breathtaking views.

Special Events and Entertainment

Mark your calendars for the Grand Oktoberfest Weekend from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2. This epic event pays homage to the original Oktoberfest in Munich, complete with a parade of musicians and dancers, and a ceremonial keg tapping. It’s a celebration you won’t want to miss.

And for the art lovers, live art installations are back! Watch talented local artists create masterpieces in real time each weekend, adding an artistic flair to the festivities.

Live Music to Keep You Grooving

Music is at the heart of Oktoberfest, and this year is no exception. Enjoy lively polka music and dancing at the Oktoberfest Halle from noon to 6 p.m. daily. Head over to the Chickadee Stage from 2 to 5 p.m. for energetic performances by local musicians. And don’t miss the enchanting sounds of Alphorns atop Hidden Peak from 3 to 5 p.m. daily.
