Code of Conduct 

All guests attending events are expected to comply with the Mountain America Exposition Center’s Guest Code of Conduct. 
The Mountain America Exposition Center is committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience for all visitors. Our staff will proactively intervene to support an environment where: 
  • Guests will be respectful to all other visitors, participants, staff and convention center property. 
  • Guests will comply with the direction and instructions from convention center staff at all times. 
  • Guests who partake in alcoholic beverages will do so in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired or intoxicated guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner. 
  • Guests are prohibited from smoking any substance on premises, including the use of e-cigarettes, pipes, or any other smoking device. 
  • Guests will not be permitted to tailgate on Convention Center grounds. 
  • Guests will refrain from using offensive language, making obscene gestures, or wearing inappropriate clothing not consistent with a public, family setting. 
Any other conduct deemed by Mountain America Exposition Center's management to be non-conducive to the peace and good order of events or which may adversely affect the safety of persons or property is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse admittance and remove individuals who do not comply with facility guidelines. 
 
To ensure the safety and security of all visitors, guests may be refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. Guests found inside the convention center with prohibited items may be required to remove the item from the premises, surrender the item, or may be asked to leave the facility. The following items are generally prohibited at the Exposition Center in accordance with venue policies and security requirements. Certain exceptions may be permitted depending on the event type, operational needs, and prior approval from Event Management and venue security/Guest Services. 
The Exhibition Center prohibits the following items: 
  • Aerosol cans 
  • Animals (except certified service animals or approved animals in training) 
  • Containers larger than 12” x 12” x 6” 
  • Backpacks 
  • Glass bottles 
  • Fireworks 
  • Firearms or other weapons (subject to applicable local and state laws, including open carry regulations) 
  • Hard-sided coolers 
  • Laser devices or pointers 
  • Skateboards or rollerblades 
  • Toy guns or knives (including water guns) 
  • Sticks or clubs 
  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or drones 
  • Additional items deemed necessary by Event Management or venue security/Guest Services based on the event or operational needs.
