About Visit Salt Lake

Visit Salt Lake is the local convention and visitors bureau. We are a private, non-profit community organization promoting Salt Lake as a travel destination. Visit Salt Lake and its members provide assistance to convention & meeting planners, tourism professionals, media, and visitors. Each year more than one million visitors utilize our visitor information centers and this website to obtain information about Salt Lake and area businesses and services.

Over 650 area businesses and individuals have joined together to support and promote Salt Lake through membership with Visit Salt Lake. An active, involved membership contributes to our success. A wide range of activities and services are provided to members in exhange for their support.

To improve the area economy by attracting and providing support to conventions, leisure travelers, and visitors to Salt Lake County. Marketing efforts feature the positive differences between Salt Lake and competing destinations. Convention and visitor services are provided to encourage longer stays and future returns.
