Visit Salt Lake Names Evan Bauerle Sports, Tourism & Events Sales Manager
Salt Lake City (January 2022) — Following the successful launch of the new “West of Conventional” brand, Visit Salt Lake (VSL) recently announced the hiring of Evan Bauerle to oversee sports, tourism and event sales for the west region of Salt Lake County.
As part of this collaborative new partnership with ChamberWest, Bauerle will help attract new and retain existing sporting events of all sizes to utilize venues and hotels located in West Valley, Kearns, Taylorsville and West Jordan. Bauerle will work in concert with Barbara Riddle and the rest of the ChamberWest team to grow tourism-related business. Bauerle has spent the last several years in various sales positions, most recently with Encore AV at the Hilton City Center.

Due to the substantial growth of sports tourism in recent years, Visit Salt Lake (VSL) launched its sports sales and marketing division, Sports Salt Lake.
