Salt Lake City International Airport

Salt Lake is a thriving modern community, and the Salt Lake City International Airport is the lifeblood of that growth. The airport is growing too -- ground was broken on a brand new, state-of-the-art $4.1 billion facility in 2016. The first phase of this expanded airport opened in September 2020 with full construction expected to be complete in 2024.

Visitors to the new airport are in for a real experiential treat; in addition to being more convenient, easier to get around, more environmentally friendly, and able to service more passengers, the new airport showcases the beauty of Utah. The goal was to have a facility that reflected the beauty and uniqueness of the city and state it is a part of, and the architectural elements and art pieces throughout that highlight the natural beauty of Utah in an inspiring way.
