Salt Lake is excited Outdoor Retailer is back home, and we know you are already embracing the familiar and enjoying all that's new. Some things haven't changed; our mountains are still pristine, our snow is still the Greatest Snow on Earth®, and there's easy access to climbing, hiking, skiing, kayaking, biking, and every other outdoors-based thrill you can think of. We remain home to the collection of craft breweries, eateries, and diverse bars you remember, and in the past 5 years, numerous new hotels, restaurants, pubs, and attractions have opened to add to the variety.

Even more important, the county has acquired land to increase trail and open space acreage for recreation and open space. Other projects focused on clean air, solar energy, LEED certified facilities have been completed or are in process. As part of our commitment we have partnered with Outdoor Retailer to preserve what makes Salt Lake County so special—easy access to canyons, trails, and beautiful open spaces; our mountains, water, and air.

OAX - Outdoor Adventure X | A Mountain Festival for the Outdoor Adventurer | June 17-18, 2023, Snowbasin, Huntsville, Utah

Outdoor Adventure X

Outdoor Adventure X, a new mountain gear festival, debuts this June 17-18 at Snowbasin Resort and Pineview Reservoir in Utah just prior to Outdoor Retailer Summer. Outdoor enthusiasts can spend the weekend immersed in activities on the mountain and water with leading outdoor experts, plus shop for great gear, attend educational clinics and workshops, camp (or glamp) with friends and family, celebrate at happy hours, listen to live music, and soak in the mountain air.⁠ Learn more about how to get involved with OAX at www.outdooradventurex.com.
