The Utah Transit Authority offers Trax Light-Rail service from the Airport to downtown Salt Lake - and February is Free Fare February. For the whole month, present your printed or digital airline boarding pass for free Trax travel.. Weekday service begins at 5:30 am and runs until 11:30 pm. The Airport TRAX station is located on the ground level outside the terminal on the east side. To get to the station, passengers should exit door 1A and head east.
