Workshop: Diorama Build with Alison Neville

Our build will be based on nature and contain an animal of your choosing. They will be contained in small tins or glass containers.

This UMOCA workshop is offered free of charge. Museum admission is a $5 suggested donation to help support our programming.

About the Artist: Alison Neville graduated magna cum laude in 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art from Weber State University with a two dimensional emphasis. She lives and works as the education coordinator at BDAC in Bountiful, Utah. She also maintains a monthly critique group named the Bob Ross Society. Her work has shown from Ogden to Salt Lake City as part of pop-up shows, galleries, fundraisers, and city funded projects. Her work varies widely including drawings on paper, dioramas, mixed media, and polymer clay sculpture. Along with contemporary projects, she illustrates coloring books for adults (Fungi Fancy and Sacred Sloths), paints miniature pendants, and contributes miniature works to refurbished cigarette vending machines called art-o-mats.
