In conjunction with PBS' Great American Read programming, the Orem Public Library and the Provo Library will be hosting a series of events based around books on the Great American Read list. Events will take place at both libraries and the slate of programs features activities for people of all ages. Don't miss this chance to talk about some of your favorite books on the list! There will be music, dancing, games, and refreshments.September 17 – October 12Orem Public LibraryThe Great American Read: Other Worlds Art ShowHow would you like to escape to Narnia, travel to Middle Earth, or settle down in Avonlea for a while? This fall we’re inviting artists of all ages and levels of experience to create art pieces, including photos, paintings, drawings, or mixed media creations, of their favorite fictional universes. Selected entries will be displayed at the Orem Library and photographed to create bookmarks.
