USUO continues to prioritize the health and well-being of its audience, musicians, staff, guest artists, and the entire community.Learn more about our health and safety plan here.The balcony seats will sell out early for Tchaikovsky’s orchestral tribute to Shakespeare’s romantic classic, Romeo and Juliet.Korean violinist Inmo Yang makes his Utah Symphony debut on Mendelssohn’s treasured masterpiece for violin, a work that took the composer almost six years to complete.Two works by Stravinsky complete the program. The concert opens with the music from his 1957 neoclassical ballet, Agon. The Song of the Nightingale began as an opera based on a Hans Christian Andersen tale before eventually becoming a work for orchestra and later a ballet. Estimated concert length: 1 hour, 45 minutes (including a 20 minute intermission)
