Murray City Cultural Arts Presents 2021 Storytelling Residencies.WHAT:Find and bring a potential story (3-7) minutes to the first workshop. *Don’t worry if trouble finding a story, stories can be obtained during first workshop.Learn storytelling skills and share in a zoom workshop setting to polish story.Practice at home!Participate in preliminary judging. 2 finalists per grade chosen for final city wide showcase.**Story Crossroads, a county festival, is planned for May 11, 2021 at Murray Park and other county facilities. Murray will be selecting up to 15 finalists from the Showcase to participate.*This is a great opportunity and fun way for children, teens, and adults to develop story writing and storytelling skills! Residencies are open to Murray residents or students who attend a school within the Murray City boundaries.WHERE: Residency will take place online via ZOOMMurray Senior Recreation Center Residency: Adults, ages 18 & olderFebruary 24 - March 26Wednesdays and Fridays only1:00 - 2:30 PMHOW:Email Registration Form before the first day of workshop (please try to attend all days in assigned Residency).
