format_align_left OverviewTemporary Closure: To help control the spread of illness caused by COVID-19 (coronavirus) the Church History Museum will temporarily close to the public on March 13, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. and will remain closed until further notice.***Sisters for Suffrage: How Utah Women Won the Vote Exhibit runs from November 21, 2019, to January 2021.During 2020, suffrage celebrations will take place across the United States in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment, which granted the right to vote to women throughout the country.Locally, 2020 marks the 150th anniversary of when Utah women first voted.Church History Museum Director Alan D. Johnson adds, “We invite everyone in the community to come and connect with this important part of history and learn more about those who helped make it.”
