    This evening, curated by Jorge Rojas and featuring the artists below, invites artists to wander through a space full of ongoing live performance from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.Jorge Rojas is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and educator from Morelos, Mexico. He studied Art at the University of Utah and at Bellas Artes in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Rojas uses performance, visual art, and social engagement to examine cultural, social, and mediated forms of communication. His art and curatorial projects have been exhibited in galleries, museums, and other venues nationally and internationally. From 2015 to 2021, Rojas served as director of learning and engagement at Utah Museum of Fine Arts where he oversaw education, community engagement, and public programming initiatives. Rojas is actively involved in the Salt Lake City community as an artist, curator, educator, and is a passionate advocate for advancing racial and cultural justice through the arts.Originally from Mexico City, Stephanie García (above) was considered one of the most prominent dancers in Mexico in 2010. Garcia is a performer, choreographer, performing arts director, cultural manager, producer, arts advocator, Co-founder, and Co-Director of Punto de Inflexión Dance Company and PROArtes México. Stephaníe has danced with several of the most influential choreographers and venues in Mexico, performed in 11 countries of America, Europe, and Africa, and choreographed more than 20 original dance/interdisciplinary pieces. Beneficiary of programs like IBERESCENA grant (ESP), Prince Claus Fund (NLD), Santander Legacy 2020 outstanding profile recognition (MEX), Banff Center (CAN), NALAC (USA), and seven times awarded by Mexico's National Culture and Arts Fund from 2006-2019. Stephaníe is now an MFA candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Modern Dance program of the School of Dance, the CLAS Tinker Field Research Award recipient, and a Sorenson Legacy Foundation Fellow at the University of Utah.Kellie St. Pierre is a freelance dancer, choreographer, visual artist, and teaching artist based in Salt Lake City, UT. Originally from Bakersfield, CA, Kellie graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance, a minor in Business Management, and a minor in Civic and Community Engagement. Kellie has performed and toured nationally and internationally with Donald McKayle’s Étude Ensemble, as well as with DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion under the direction of Jacuqes Heim.  In addition, Kellie performed with DIAVOLO among the top 10 contestants of America's Got Talent Season 12.  Since, she has been invested in several choreographic opportunities, visual and projection exploration, and screendance creations, while pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in Modern Dance at the University of Utah. Kellie is also an advocate for the health and wellness of the dance community through the teaching of yoga, mediation, and injury prevention. Certified under Katie Scharr and Dr. Nick Cutri, Kellie has been offering Sugarfoot Therapy Injury Prevention and Conditioning to the Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and wider dance scene.Miche’ Smith (above) is a dancer, actor and choreographer from Gautier, Mississippi. A graduate of Troy University, Miche’ completed both a B.S. in Theatre and a BFA in Dance. Upon graduation, she accepted a position as acting apprentice at Aurora Theatre in Atlanta. Her creative work has appeared at Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre, Dance Canvas’ Palette Project and Alabama Dance Festival’s New Works Concert. Miche' aims to create an evocative, interdisciplinary body of work that encourages us to expose our humanity, examine our wounds, and deeply connect with one another empathetically. She is thrilled to be in SLC for her first season with Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company.
