Jennifer Rasmusson Solo Exhibition: New Abstracts

Sat, Aug 18
Jennifer Rasmusson’s abstract paintings are interpretations of her everyday world. Her process is a fluid conversation between herself, the paint, and various materials. The result is layers of luminous color, shape, and space. She reaches for a balance between the light and dark spaces in the composition.

Jennifer Rasmusson is a Utah native, born in Provo and currently living in Cedar City with her family. She stays involved in local arts, and has shown in many regional exhibitions including  the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and the Springville Museum of Art. Rasmusson attended Lyme Academy of Fine Art in Connecticut, and Dundas Valley School of Art in Canada.
