  • at: First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake City
Imprisoning a Generation is a documentary film following the stories of four young Palestinians who have been detained and imprisoned under the Israeli military and political systems. Their perspectives, along with the voices of their families, combine to form a lens into the entangled structures of oppression that expand well beyond the prison walls. Q & A with film maker Zelda Edmunds, a Portland-based activist and artist. She has been involved in Palestine solidarity work since living in the West Bank in 2009-2011. She returned in 2016, when the filming for Imprisoning a Generation took place. Zelda is currently a student at POCA Technical Institute.
