Ben Keller is a Salt Lake native who started his musical career in the fourth grade by taking piano lessons. In middle school, his focus shifted to the world of percussion as he began to study the drum set, vibraphone, and marimba with Dan Chamberland. Ben is currently working on a Bachelor of Music dual major in jazz composition and vibraphone performance at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, with a primary focus jazz composition and vibraphone performance. Ben recently returned from a semester abroad in Valencia, Spain, where he focused on flamenco composition and arranging, as well as its rhythms and percussion.This interactive and fun class will have kids learning rhythms, rhythm notation, improvisation, and playing in an ensemble!  Class Max: 20.
