Where to Ride
There are five outdoor arenas of varying sizes within the 120 acre park; one is covered. These arenas are used for Open Ride, Club Nights, rodeos and other equestrian events. The rodeo arena can also accommodate non-equine events, such as concerts and demolition derbies, with permanent seating for 4,500.
The indoor arena is 150’ x 300’ with a total of 45,000 square feet. There are retractable bleachers with seating for 3,000. Flooring can be placed over the dirt floor for shows with vendors. The footing in this arena is exceptional for reining, barrel racing, cutting, roping or showing.
Laurel Brown Racetrack
This racetrack is the best the state has to offer. It is home to world-class Quarter Horse racing, featuring many of the industry’s top horses, trainers and jockeys. The track is maintained year-round. The ¾ mile track features seating for 2,000 people and is AQHA-approved.
This beautiful, 10-acre grassy area is open every day, except when an event is scheduled. The field is all lawn and fully fenced. We host a number of equine events in the field, such as polo and hunter jumper shows. The field is also used for non-equine events, such as national dog shows, lacrosse tournaments and other events requiring a large, outdoor space.
Around the Park
Patrons may also ride on the roads around the park. However, we recommend riding in the arenas or the Polo Field as this is a working park with frequent vehicular traffic.
