  1. Days of '47 Parade:

    • Location: Downtown Salt Lake City 
    • Details: Experience the grandeur of the annual Days of '47 Parade, one of the largest and oldest parades in the country. Cheer on the colorful floats, marching bands, equestrian units, and cultural performances as they make their way through downtown Salt Lake City.     • Details: Can you imagine trying to explainin drones to the pioneers?! Round up your friends, family, and neighbors, and prepare to be amazed by a fusion of technology and artistry starting at 10PM. This event is open to all ages, or at least those without an early bedtime.

    • Location: This Is the Place Heritage Park 
    • Details: Step back in time at the Pioneer Heritage Festival held at This Is the Place Heritage Park. Explore pioneer-era demonstrations, interactive exhibits, and hands-on activities for all ages.   4. Pioneer Day Rodeo: 
    • Date: July 19-24th 
    • Location: Utah State Fairpark 
    • Details: Saddle up for a day of excitement at the Pioneer Day Rodeo. Watch as cowboys and cowgirls compete in traditional rodeo events, including bull riding, barrel racing, and roping competitions. Pro tip? Come dressed to impress in your finest Western attire... just don't forget the SPF!
  5. Deseret News Marathon:

    • Details: Lace up your running shoes and join the longest-operating marathon in Utah. The Deseret News races consist of a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1K.Pioneer Day 5K Run/Walk.
