An annual Thanksgiving tradition is the Utah Human Race. This is the 8th year for this tradition, and gets bigger and better each year.
On Thanksgiving morning, more than 5,100 participants line up at the VF Outlet stores in Draper to race and raise money and food for the Utah Food Bank. The 10k begins at 7:30am, while the 5k begins at 8:00am.
"We are hopeful that even more families this year will make a tradition of fighting hunger on a day of plenty," said Ginette Bott, Chief Development Officer at Utah Food Bank. "By participating, each person is directly helping us put food on the tables of those in need in our state."
Runners can register online as a group or an individual.
Every sponsorship dollar and registration raised from the Utah Human Race goes to provide food and services to Utah Communities.
You can view complete details and register for the race on the Utah Human Race website.
