Tin Roof Grill has an enigmatic charm about it. Part sports bar atmosphere, but also nice enough for a date night. In a location surrounded by franchise fast-food, this is a surprising gem in the area. It's not often you can find a spot where you can meet to watch Sunday football, or have an inexpensive yet impressive and romantic date.

Many restaurants could learn from Tin Roof Grill, as they have an incredible variety of dishes, without having an overwhelming menu. They have pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, salads, and a couple of Thai noodle dishes. Additionally, there are a number of small plate dishes which are all perfect for sharing. I always admire a single page menu, it shows a certain focus and confidence from the chef.

My favorite small plate is the flat bread, which comes with fresh pesto, olive tapenade, and a white bean puree. It is the type of dish you find yourself licking the plate clean. The Asian beef salad is one of the best, with perfectly cooked, juicy beef strips, and an incredible dressing. The pasta dishes are impressive, made with fresh ingredients, and without canned sauces. They have a good assortment of beer and wine to accompany your dinner, as well as espresso.

One of the more incredible aspects of Tin Roof Grill are the prices. No dish is over $10, most are around $8. The serving sizes are quite liberal for such a low price. Lunch and dinner are served seven days a week. Open daily at 11 am, closes at 9pm Monday through Thursday, 10pm Friday and Saturday, and 8pm Sunday. Sunday brunch is served from 11am-2:30pm.
