Summer Means Free in Salt Lake

Something that seems synonymous with rising summer temps in Salt Lake is the amount of free events open to the public. Nearly everyday of the week Salt Lake offers a plethora of options for the single and family deal seekers.

If you’re looking for a reprieve from work the Brown Bag Concert Series and Lunch Bunch Concerts is your answer. Grab your lunch and head over for a free mid-day concert downtown.

Free concerts are not limited to lunch goers, take a peak at the line up of free Cool Air Concerts Series on Friday nights and Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort or Music at Main, Tuesday nights, at the Salt Lake Main Library Amphitheater

Movie Under The Stars

Cinema enthusiasts can jump in on Gallivan Center’s Noir at Night, or the Sundance Institutes Summer Series at Red Butte Amphitheatre. Friday Night Flicks at Liberty Park, Movie Under the Stars on the State Capitol lawn or Family Flicks at Snowbird are all great options for families with little ones.

If you’re looking to spice up your summer with a little out-of-the-box thinking try the Weekday Outdoor Workouts or Big Band Dance Night at Gallivan Center. Both free and open to the public.

How ever you enjoy your summers, these events are all worth adding to your itinerary.
