Caffe Niche
Pictured above are Caffe Niche's Fish Tacos ($11 - click for full size), one of several excellent set dishes on offer this Mother's Day (9am through 2pm). Sundays also mean $5 Bloody Mary or Mimosa specials, too. “In addition to a completely re-tooled classic cocktail menu, Easter brunch offerings will pair perfectly with our new breakfast martini — cleverly concocted by our in-house mixologist Chris Bradshaw, ” said chef and owner Ethan Lappé. “It includes Tanqueray No. Ten, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, orange marmalade, and a dash of orange bitters. Faustina's Mother's Day brunch ($32 adults, $25 children, 9am to 3pm) will be bolstered by a special Mimosa bar this year. General Manager and chief mixologist Hillary Merrill has created a special $3 Mimosa bar that includes a choice of juices: orange, blood orange, pomegranate, peach, pear, cranberry, grapefruit or pineapple. “Our new Mimosa bar is a huge hit for our special occasion brunches,” said Merrill. “We’ve been having so much fun working on different flavor combinations!”. Oasis Cafe
Oasis Cafe on 500 East will serve a Mother’s Day buffet on Sunday, May 12 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Cost for Adults is $32, and children 12 and under $18. Mirroring the creative daily menu filled with local organic vegetables, sustainably ranched meats and freshest seafood, the buffet will include the popular prime rib carving station and a chocolate fountain for dessert. Dinner will be served with specials complementing the evening a la carte menu from 5 – 9 p.m. Full brunch menu details here

Taqueria 27
If you're looking for something a little different to the norm, check out Taqueria 27, who will be open May 12th with a range of unique dishes to treat mom too. Why not head down for breakfast and order Chilequiles ($7.50) - corn chips simmered in T27 ranchero sauce, layered with asadero and cotija Cheeses and topped with 2 Eggs, Salsa Crudo and Sour Cream. Or maybe you have something sweeter on your mind such as T27's fresh churros tossed in chocolate sugar whipped fresh cream, melted millcreek cacao ($5.50). Full menu here

Of course, there are stalwarts of the dining scene ready to take great care of mom too. Executive Chef Nathan Powers is honoring Utah moms at Bambara, with a gourmet Mother’s Day brunch buffet on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. From a dessert station with bite-size sweets to poached prawns or indulgent truffle mac ‘n cheese, Chef Powers created the Mother’s Day menu to delight and satisfy, letting Moms have a day off from cooking to pamper themselves. With plenty of options for the whole family to enjoy, brunch is available for $38 for adults, $18 for children ages 6-12 and $28 for senior citizens, 65-years-old and over.
