Make ressies now for Mother's Day brunch in SLC

Salt Lake City has lots of appropriate options to honor Mom Sunday, May 9, which—fair warning to kids and fathers—will be here before you know it but hopefully not before you've made reservations. Because you'll need them just about anywhere that day.

Tuscany offers a set price Mothers Day Brunch from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Choose roast leg of lamb, prime rib, turkey and ham carving stations, made-to-order omelets, eggs benedict, Mark Eaton's own power waffles, seafood, fruit and pastry. If you don't want brunch, Tuscany is also open for dinner on Mothers Day from 5:30 to 8:30 Reservations. You can't possibly miss seeing it, but you ought to allow a little extra time to look at the amazing art glass chandelier.

Bambara's Mothers Day Brunch is from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.; it's $34 for adults, $16 for kids 6 to 12 and $28 for seniors.  Brunch includes pastries, whole New York xtrip, bone in pork leg, eggs any style, grilled king salmon, build-your-own omelets, all kinds of sides—asparagus, salads, french toast, strata, truffled mac and cheese, cheesecakes, cupcakes, eclairs and brownies. Or you can opt for dinner a la carte in the evening from chef Nathan Powers' seasonal menu.

Franck's four course Mothers Day brunch, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is $47 for adults and $22 for kids. The menu is an adventure of chef Franck Peissel inventions like chilled watermelon soup with grilled calamari, eggs benedict with house cured canadian bacon and smoked strawberry-lemon hollandaise, sous vide hanger steak with sweet red tomato wasabi sauce and passtion fruit cheesecake.

At the Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant and Inn, 2009 Best of State winner for Best European Fine Dining, executive chef Eric Maywill serve a five-course menu for $40—your choice of entree. like pan-seared salmon with corn and edamame succotash, asparagus and a port reduction, green apple griddle cakes, eggs benedict, herb seasoned prime rib, mushroom and Swiss quiche and a Norwegian smoked salmon platter with a house made bagel, hardboiled egg, capers, shallots and scallion cream cheese. Or you can choose one of Blue Boar signature favorites (like cinnamon-marbled brioche French toast).

Finally, Faustina breaks the Mothers Day mold by offering dinner for the day. Go on and sleep in, Moms! Dinner can be early—the restaurant opens at 4:30 p.m.—but you can choose from the full dinner menu with some added special items. AND, if you find their online coupon, you can get one entree 50% off with the purchase of another entree of equal or lesser value.
