Lunch Options at Paradise Bakery

Eating fresh and healthy for lunch whether you're a business traveler or local is thankfully less of a challenge than it has been in years past. What if you want to combine variety with healthy options? No problem if you're headed to Paradise Bakery in Sugarhouse or their location near downtown Salt Lake on 400 South.

I stepped into Paradise Bakery not knowing that they have locations in 14 states with 5 in Utah (2 more opening up later this fall). While I may be a bit out of it, to me it felt just as unique and warm as if it were a single location started up by locals.

I know it's a generalization but it's often common with chain restaurants that they easily loose their charm or unique feel, not to mention a decline in the quality and uniqueness of food. That doesn't seem to be the case with the Sugarhouse location.

After being nearly overwhelmed with the options I choose a turkey sandwich made on their whole wheat bread. My friend Bill who is a vegetarian had the tomato bisque with a very appetizing salad. Both our meals were delicious and hearty. Enjoying a new lunch location with great food and a good doesn't get much better.

Aside from the enormous menu and the delectable bakery options, if you're looking for a place to get some work done each of their locations offer free Wireless Internet. On top of that I believe that the sign inside isn't just marketing fluff:
"Since 1976 - Using the finest ingredients, our products are prepared and baked fresh on the premises. Enjoy the taste of Paradise."
