Salt Lake City is never one to rest on its laurels when it comes to food and drink, and the last three months have been no exception. If it’s been a while since you’ve checked out the latest and greatest changes to our foodie scene, we’ve got just what you need - a recap of some of the very best new openings in town.
Copper Common
The companion bar to neighboring Copper Onion has recently undergone a chic reboot. The 21+ business now offers a big city feel in a contrastingly cozy space; no surprise given owner Ryan Lowder’s former chef life in NYC.
The bar is home to some of the best mixologists in the city who oversee a compact and creative cocktail list; an all-natural wine list is also offered up alongside an eclectic collection of Euro-influenced small plates. As the temps rise, be sure to make a beeline for their shaded patio that runs along Broadway.

Laziz Kitchen
Sliding seamlessly into the former Curry Up Now space in Midvale is the second location for this beloved Lebanese eatery. It’s arrival in the South of the valley brings with it the same hand-crafted dishes and charm that made the original a huge success.
Choose from an array of wraps, bowls, and platters that all lean into Laziz’ mix of fun flavors. A grilled chicken wrap with red pepper walnut sauce? Zaatar roasted veggie bowl with falafel and harissa? Why not both?
