Witch Scavenger Hunt
This is a great anytime family activity. Wandering through the village and finding all of the witches is one of our favorite Fall activities. The village is decorated for fall with pumpkins, witches, and corn stalks. This is a great activity to get you in the mood and excited for Fall and Halloween. You can download the witch scavenger hunt, find all of the witches, and when completed turn it in at the Naborhood Bakery to get a 99 cent cookie for only 35 cents. My favorite are the pumpkin chocolate chip, or the pumpkin decorated sugar cookies.
Witches Night Out
If you have never been to Witches Night Out, you are definitely missing out! Get a sitter for the kids, gather your witchy girlfriends, and dress up in your best witch costume and hat. Enjoy a night of dancing with the Gardner Village resident witches and witch royalty, as well as other sister witches. Fortune telling, witch cackling, and a witch parade are just a few of the enchantments you will find on this night of all nights. This party flows throughout the entire village. Happening Friday, October 14th from 6pm to 10pm, and Saturday, October 15th from 6pm to 10pm. Parking is only $5 per vehicle, and admission is free! You can also now take TRAX to get to Gardner Village! (Because of the large crowds of people for this event, these are the only nights there is a parking fee. Parking is free any other day of the year.)
Breakfast With A Witch
Gather your little ones and enjoy a delicious breakfast with the Gardner Village witches. This is one of my kids' favorite activities all year long, and something they look forward to. The witches will mingle with you while signing autographs, casting spells, and singing songs. You can purchase tickets on the Gardner Village website. Breakfasts are available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from October 1st to October 29th. The Gathering Place at Gardner Village is where this magical event takes place.
Attending the Witchapalooza Dinner Theatre is a night full of enchantment and magic. 2011 marks and all new show, "It's The Taming Of The Brew!" Featuring some of Utah's premier entertainers and showcasing their voices with Utah's best live band, Witchapalooza promises a great night with fantastic food and entertainment. You can purchase tickets on the Gardner Village website. This enchanting event happens at The Gathering Place at Gardner Village, Mondays through Saturdays in October.
Ride To A Witch
This is a great family event! Jump on a vintage truck and receive a guided tour to the witches house in Cricket Hollow Swamp on the outskirts of Gardner Village. You will receive a personal tour of the witches' house by one of Gardner Village's very own witches! Tickets are available by the driveway entrance on the West side of the village. This event happens on select dates in October.
Scare Out Breast Cancer
Gardner Village is partnering with FM100.3 and Susan G. Komen during the month of October to help Scare Out breast cancer in Utah! To find out how you can help, visit the Gardner Village website.
Remember all of the fun you had this year with a 2011 Witch T-Shirt! You can purchase them at Country Furniture and Gifts at Gardner Village.
