Family Fun in Salt Lake with the Connect Pass

Published: 05/16/2017
May 16, 2017. Salt Lake City – Salt Lake is making it easier than ever for families planning to travel to Utah this summer. The Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass is an all-in-one ticket to Salt Lake’s most popular attractions at a single discounted price, saving visitors between 50 and 80 percent on regular admission prices.

The Connect Pass includes discounted admission to 15 offerings at 13 different attractions tin and around the greater Salt Lake area. Start Downtown, where the Pass includes Clark Planetarium, Discovery Gateway, The Leonardo, Lion House Pantry and Tracy Aviary. In the University Area, Pass holders can visit the Natural History Museum of Utah, Red Butte Garden, Utah's Hogle Zoo, This is The Place Heritage Park and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. Just south of Salt Lake, the Pass gets visitors into Thanksgiving Point's Museum of Ancient Life, Museum of Natural Curiosity and Gardens. Use the Pass to head up into the Wasatch Mountains to ride the Snowbird Aerial Tram or experience the thrills at the Utah Olympic Park.

The Connect Pass is available as a one-, two- or three-day consecutive pass, so visitors can choose the option that works best for their family and itinerary. A one-day pass is $32 per adult and $26 for children ages three to 12; a two-day pass is $48 per adult and $40 per child; and a three-day pass is $60 per adult and $50 per child. Regular admission to all of the included attractions would add up to over $192 per person, so the Connect Pass offers a remarkable savings. Getting Around

When it comes to getting around Salt Lake, it’s easy and affordable thanks to the TRAX light rail system. US Bus Utahoffers daily hop-on, hop-off service to 10 of the Connect Pass venues (Snowbird, Thanksgiving Point, and the Utah Olympic Park are excluded). Service can be included with the Connect Pass as an optional add-on for an additional price. Stops occur at each location every 45 minutes. The US Bus is a fun, flexible way to get around the city and put your Connect Pass to use.

For those who prefer pedal power, the city’s GREENBike SLC bike sharing program costs as little as $5 for a 24-hour access pass.
