Salt Lake City (March 2021)—Visit Salt Lake (VSL) recently announced the appointment of Allison Chappell as its Director of Research & Analytics, a newly-created position to enhance the organization’s sales and marketing efforts. In her new role, Chappell is responsible for the development, management and execution of all VSL databases, research and data analysis.

Chappell has been a valued VSL employee since 1998, serving in various roles prior to assuming this new position which will have her working directly with VSL vendors as well as coordinating surveys, conducting surveys and database research, preparing reports and providing data-driven recommendations to the organization’s leadership, Board of Directors and key stakeholders.
