SALT LAKE CITY (Spring 2014) –The Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass allows locals and visitors to take full advantage of the city’s proximity to both urban and mountain adventures. The pass is a streamlined and cost-saving way to enjoy 13 of Salt Lake’s top attractions and is the next best thing to having a personal travel planner book your “fun tickets.” It's a super value and easy to use.

The Connect Pass is the perfect choice for out-of-town visitors and residents alike, who may have family or friends in town or simply want something exciting to do with their kids during the dog days of summer. Pass holders receive tremendous savings of up to 80 percent off regular admission prices to 13 of Salt Lake's most popular attractions. The Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass is sold online at www.VisitSaltLake.com, in the Visitor’s Center at the Salt Palace Convention Center and at participating hotels. For more information, call 801-534-4900 or go to www.visitsaltlake.com/visit/connectpass/.

How It Works: Available as a 1-day, 2-day, 3-day or 365-day pass, the Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass is activated the first time it is used and remains active for the number of consecutive days purchased. Pass holders may visit as many attractions as they like while their pass is active, but each person must have a pass and they are limited to one (1) visit at each participating attraction. The 365-day pass is valid for an entire year, but must be activated within the calendar year it was purchased. Group rates are available for 20 or more passes.

Visit Salt Lake encourages travel from neighboring states and communities surrounding the Salt Lake metropolitan area by highlighting the vast array of entertaining area attractions Salt Lake and its Connect Pass partners have to offer. Visit Salt Lake is targeting drive markets and Salt Lake-based audiences for summer adventure travel in an attempt to capture the national trend of travelers wanting to vacation closer to home.

“You don’t have to leave the Wasatch Front to have a truly amazing vacation, and one that offers a great deal of value,” said Scott Beck, president and CEO of Visit Salt Lake. “Salt Lake offers the sophisticated amenities of a major metropolitan destination combined with the alpine ambiance of a mountain resort. Very few destinations offer so much to do so close to the natural environment.”
