Salt Lake City (January 2011) -- Visit Salt Lake, formerly the Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau, is again sponsoring the Sundance Film Festival Café in downtown Salt Lake January 21-29. Conveniently located between the two main Salt Lake Sundance screening venues of Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center and Broadway Theatres, the Café is a place for filmmakers and festival goers to relax in the vintage tea rooms of a by-gone age. The Café will offer live music each night from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. The Beehive will extend hours of operation to 11:00 p.m. each evening, and there is no entrance fee.

The casual atmosphere of the Beehive Tea Room fills the mind with colorful images of casual roadside eateries from the past. French-press coffee, Chai, hot chocolate, an assortment of fine beers, sweets, English scones, sandwiches, salads and soups are Festival favorites. The Café is a perfect place to continue your conversations after a film.
