Olympic Legacy Celebration - Celebrating 10th Anniversary of 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City

10 years ago, Salt Lake welcomed the world for the XIX Olympic Winter Games over 17 magical days in February 2002. Join your fellow residents in reliving the magic of the 2002 Olympics at Salt Lake City's official 10th Anniversary Party!
Activities include:
- 4:00pm: Pin trading, free ice skating, Olympic memorabilia on display

4:00pm: Ski Utah's Vintage Ski Outfit contest with great prizes!

5:30pm: "Roots Beret Parade" and group photo with Ski Utah

6:00pm: Official welcome with the One Voice Children's Choir, the Children of Light from the Opening Ceremonies, Carl Roepke (former luge Olympian, the Olympic venue announcer for bobsled and luge events for the last three Winter Olympics and the official "Voice of the Olympics Medals Plaza",) Mayor Ralph Becker and former Mayor Deedee Corradini
- 6:30pm: Athlete appearances and local DJs

7:45pm: Live performance with special guest DJ Mike Relm and his interactive video mash-ups (see him in action here.)
- 9:15pm: Fireworks!
Plus, local food trucks on-site. So, dig out your Roots beret hats, volunteer jackets, pins, and sweaters and "Light the Fire Within!"
