After six months of massive reconstruction, the Little America Hotel has unveiled its newly renovated world-class meeting space. The expansive remodel includes the addition of three large meeting rooms, adding 4,081 sq ft to the property's event space, which now totals 25,613 sq ft.

"We are pleased to have improved upon one of Salt Lake City's prime meeting space venues," says Bruce T. Fery, Executive Vice President of Grand America Hotel & Resorts. "The quality and workmanship of our renovated area is among the finest in the world and reflects the traditional warm elegance of the Little America."

The existing 13 meeting rooms, including the Grand Ballroom, were completely transformed; now adorning custom patterned damask fabrics, mirror-paneled wall inlays, rich European rugs and finely carved French Richelieu furniture. The new look also included ceiling makeovers with Laudarte Italian chandeliers and sconces.

To accommodate every need of meeting guests and presenters, the new space offers Lutron lighting systems, Crestron touch panel and keyboard controls, automated drop-down projection screens and projectors, and truss and rigging capability. In addition, the audio system was fully updated offering cabling for voice, video and data systems as well as increased electrical power distribution.

Begun May 11, 2009, the renovation held true to the high standard for all Grand America Hotels & Resorts properties, overlooking no detail in its completion.
