The Salt Lake CVB recently announced the appointment of Kaitlin Ye as its new Director of Tourism Sales-Ski. In her role, Ye is responsible for the promotion and sales of Salt Lake’s world-class inventory of skiing at the four Cottonwood Resorts--Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude--and the myriad of amenities and attractions complementing the Ski Salt Lake product, including the Super Pass and Salt Lake’s 16,000-plus rooms, making Salt Lake the most accessible, diverse and inclusive ski destination in North America, if not the world.
Originally hailing from Minnesota with a degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Ye brings with her years of experience in the tourism industry, including stints at the Park City Chamber & Visitors Bureau, the Miners Club at The Canyons, and Ski-West, and will direct her sales efforts to ski clubs, ski councils and tour operators, as well as to skiers and snowboarders directly, both domestically and internationally.
“We’re thrilled Kaitlin is joining our staff at this critical time of year,” commented Mark White, Vice President of Sales for the Salt Lake CVB. “Her experience and knowledge of the industry, coupled with her enthusiasm, ensures our Ski Salt Lake program will continue to excel, taking advantage of the exceptional growth that's occurred in recent seasons.”
