SALT LAKE CITY, November 1, 2011--Salt Lake ski resorts topped the charts of the 2011 SKI Magazine reader survey, earning Top Ten rankings in more than 10 different categories. Highlights include Alta receiving the #1 nomination for Overall Satisfaction, Character, Snow as well as being ranked the Top Skier’s Mountain.
“These honors,” said Alta’s General Manager Onno Wieringa, “have more to do with our incredible terrain and the geographical advantages of where our mountain sits in the Wasatch. We try to do the best we can as a ski area to match our grooming, snow safety and lifts with the natural advantages we have.”
