Super Pass 09/10Ski Salt Lake Super Pass

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
With the Ski Salt Lake Super Pass being such a great value, you might have a few questions. We've provided a few answers for you below. If you can't find the answer to your question please contact us.

How do I get a Super Pass?

Do I have to ski/board consecutive days with my multi-day Super Pass?

You can purchase 1 to 10 days of skiing or snowboarding that can be used within a 7 or 14 day window commencing on the date of first use.

Are there any dates when the Super Pass is not valid?

No. Your Super Pass is valid any day during the 2011-2012 season, including weekends and holidays.

Do I need to redeem my Super Pass for a lift ticket each day?

Yes. You will need to redeem your Super Pass at the resort's lift ticket window. Alta and Solitude will load skiing for that day directly onto your Super Pass card, while Brighton and Snowbird will give you one of their paper lift tickets.

Can I use my Super Pass at more than one resort per day?

No. The Super Pass is valid at only one resort per day. However, you can access both Alta and Snowbird in a single day by upgrading your Super Pass to the AltaSnowbird ticket for an additional $32.00 payable at the ticket window.

Can I pick which resorts to use the SuperPass at each day or do I have to ski/ride at all four?

The Super Pass is valid at only one resort per day. However, you get to pick which resort you want to redeem it at for that day. For example: if you have a 4-day Super Pass you can spend all 4 days at one resort or visit all four resorts — it's completely up to you.

Can more than one person use the same Super Pass?

No. Each person must have his or her own Super Pass.

Is there a Super Pass for children under the age of 7 years?

No. Since the resorts' children ticket policies vary based on age and rate, we recommend purchasing your child's lift tickets at each individual resort. Our Junior Super Pass is for ages 7-12.

How do I use my Super Pass Card for free transportation to/from resorts?

Simply tap your card to the electronic reader located at the front of anyl UTA Ski Bus or on a TRAX platform. Remember to tap your card on the reader again when you exit the bus or TRAX platform to validate your fare.

Can I use my paper Super Pass voucher for free transportation on UTA Bus or TRAX light rail?

Yes, simply present your paper voucher to the UTA Ski Bus driver or TRAX conductor to allow free access on your initial ride up to the resorts.  The voucher must be exchanged for a Super Pass card at resort ticket window for additional free access to transportation.  Ski bus service begins in early December and typically runs until the first weekend in April.  For the 2011/2012 ski season, Ski bus service will end on April 14, 2012. For complete details visit www.rideuta.com.

What happens if I lose my Super Pass?

Unfortunately, a Super Pass is like cash and is non-refundable.

Can I receive a refund on my Super Pass if I decide not to use it?

No. You have until the end of the 2011-2012 season to begin use of your Super Pass. It is non-refundable and all sales are final.

How do I get 20% off my equipment rental?

Show your Super Pass at one of the rental shops located at Alta, Brighton, Snowbird, or Solitude. The discount is good for all ski and snowboard rental equipment.
