snowbird Snowbird
Legendary snowfall, bright sunshine, soaring granite peaks, a 125-passenger aerial Tram and elegant lodging make Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort a world-class resort. Snowbird receives an average of 500 inches of Utah’s famous light, dry, powder annually and is best known for its long, continuous, vertical runs. The resort offers the first ski area tunnel in North America. Snowbird, along with Little Cottonwood Canyon neighbor Alta, has been named the No. 1 ski resort in the U.S. for the past five years. The two areas offer a shared pass and 4,700 acres of skiable terrain.

Celebrating the longest ski season in Utah through the month of May, Snowbird is North America’s most accessible year-round resort, located 29 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport.
