A day on the slopes and a night on the town make a perfect combination for enjoying the winter months in Salt Lake City. The Utah Symphony and Utah Opera are making this combination even more enticing by offering a $35 best-available-seat deal to visitors and locals who present a same-week lift ticket or Super Pass from any of Utah's ski resorts. The $35 price represents a savings of up to $60, depending on the seat available.

"One of the many things that make Utah's ski and snowboard resorts so special is the proximity to a major metropolitan area," said Susie English of Ski Utah. Salt Lake offers thousands of restaurants and hundreds of bars and hotels, in addition to cultural activities all winter long. "Utah is the only place in the world where the Greatest Snow on Earth is 30 minutes from world-class symphony and opera performances," said Vicki Varela of the Utah Office of Tourism.

To take advantage of the après-ski deal, call the Utah Symphony's box office at 801-533-6683 and mention "après-ski." Plan to show your lift ticket or Ski City Super Pass when you pick up your symphony or opera ticket.

All Utah Symphony and Utah Opera performances during the ski season are eligible for this promotion. Utah Symphony performances are at Abravanel Hall, and Utah Opera performances are at Capitol Theatre.
