There's nothing like getting out in the cold, fresh air to help you work up an appetite for Thanksgiving dinner. Here's a list of Thanksgiving Day 2014 events to help get your blood moving before your holiday feast.

Enjoying Thanksgiving Day doesn’t have to mean gaining a few extra pounds. So come burn a few calories and create lasting memories at the 9th Annual Utah Human Race, benefiting Utah Food Bank. Thanksgiving Day "Turkey Trot" races and fun runs throughout the valley give us all a chance to burn some calories before the big feast. The Utah Food Bank's Human Race is the biggest, but there are lots of other Thankgsgiving themed races around northern Utah on Thanksgiving Day and throughout the month.
Why not spend the day skiing before sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner? If Mother Nature cooperates, most Utah ski resorts will be open Thanksgiving Day. Some offer dining options as well. Check the resort website for offers.
