With the holiday season wrapping up here shortly, there are still a number of exciting events happening in Salt Lake City.

To kick off the New Year, the Downtown Alliance, in conjunction with a number of partners, is putting on their annual celebration now known as EVE. A three day festival filled with fine arts performances, live local music, dance parties, DJs, film screenings, laser shows, art installations, kids' activities, storytelling and a spectacular midnight fireworks show December 31, you won't want to miss this. For the price of one $15 ticket, you will have a passport to explore downtown SLC for 3 days and 3 nights (December 29-31, 2013) at 10 venues.  

Any ticket holder will be able to experience events held at the Salt Palace, as well as Clark Planetarium, Discovery Gateway, UMOCA, Temple Square, Off Broadway Theatre, Broadway Centre Cinemas and The Leonardo.You can also see the Utah Jazz take on the Charlotte Bobcats on December 30 at Energy Solutions Arena as part of your EVE experience, but seats are limited and are available on a first- come, first served-basis. You can also check out several other fun and festive events going on downtown as part of this year's grand Festival of Lights, including the Zoo Lights, City Creek Center's array of lights, the infamous lights at Temple Square, and more.
