RootsTech is a fantastic opportunity for beginning hobbyists, technology experts and genealogy experts to come together and collaborate on how to make searching out your roots easier. In the free exhibit hall you'll find all the latest technology and get hands on experience with family history tools. There are hands-on workshops and interactive presentations throughout the conference. There is no way you can come to this event and not learn something new and break new ground in seeking out your ancestors.
In addition to the wonderful schedule regular classes, there is a Thursday Night opening social at The Leonardo and Friday Night Late Night at the Family History Library and Evening of Storytelling at the Church History Museum events. It is going to be a full three days packed with education.
I'll be speaking on "The Cool Parts of Genealogy: Engaging My Teenagers Case Study" at 3:00 pm on Thursday, and on "Library of Alexandria Rule: Research Survival for the Digital Age" at 11:00 am on Saturday. The rest of the time you can come visit us in the exhibitor's hall at the Family ChartMasters booth where I'll be signing my new book "Zap the Grandma Gap: Connect to Your Family By Connecting Them To Their Family History." I hope you'll stop by and say hello.
Early bird registration ends on February 15. The full three day pass is $149, but the getting started three day pass is only $39 and one day passes are as low as $19. You can get registered today at www.rootstech.org See you there!
