Salt Lake Bees baseball games Enjoying a baseball game and eating hot dogs are a favorite American pastime. The Salt Lake Bees have upcoming games with fireworks shows afterward. Gardner Village Historic Family Scavenger Hunt Stroll through this quaint little village while learning about the history of Utah. Fill out the scavenger hunt form and earn a small prize at the end. Ongoing throughout the month of July at Gardner Village. Fourth of July Make and Take July 1st and 2nd at the Kearns Library, you can stop by any time to make a fun Fourth of July craft, and take it home with you. FREE! Liberty Days at This Is The Place State Park Enjoy a picnic in the park, little-folks games and crafts, and everything else This Is The Place State Park has to style! July 2nd and 4th. Freedom Half Marathon This marathon is an intermediate-friendly course. It starts near the top of Emigration Canyon, through This Is The Place State Park and the University of Utah, through the Avenues, down City Creek area, and ends at the Utah State Capitol. July 4th Gallivan Center Salute The Troops A free event at The Gallivan Center to honor our brave soldiers. Enjoy bands, food, and an awesome fireworks show! Free admission. July 4th Sugarhouse Fireworks Spectacular The Sugarhouse Park fireworks show is a long-standing Utah tradition.
