Great burgers, unique toppings, killer sides, and all made fresh when you order. Rich's Mighty Fine Burgers serves up the best assortment of gourmet burgers in town. For just over a year now, Rich Shellene has been perfecting every menu item. He is serious about burgers, and it shows in every delicious bite.Rich's Mighty Fine Burgers serves up fresh beef, flame broiled, with inventive varieties of toppings you don't find everywhere else. Rich takes every ingredient seriously, and even fry sauce requires the utmost attention to detail. As I have worked my way through a good portion of the menu I continue to find the same level of care and quality in everything. Each burger is a 1/3 pound patty of freshly ground chuck. Choices range from a bacon cheeseburger, to the new macaroni and cheese burger made with Rich's own gourmet mac and cheese. One of my favorites is the green chile cheeseburger, made with fresh roasted Anaheim chilies, monterey jack cheese, and chipotle mayo. Also, the roasted red pepper burger with red bell peppers, monterey jack, cheddar, honey cured bacon, and lemon cider mayo. All burgers are available with the traditional beef patty, chicken, or vegetable patty ($6.45 each). There are also a number of other sandwiches like the Shrimp Po-Boy, Philly Cheese, fish sandwich, and veggie sandwich made with sauteed zucchini, mushrooms, onions, provolone, lettuce tomatoes, and pickles.Though the hand-cut fries and fresh sauteed zucchini are great sides, I always have to go with the fried green beans which are absolutely delicious. Made with Rich's own breading, they were one of the best deep-fried treats I have eaten, until he unveiled his fried apples. Hot wedges of lightly battered apples are an incredible treat to share after enjoying your burger.Rich's Mighty Fine Burgers offers free delivery for the downtown area. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
