Maybe it's a little early for Halloween greetings, but Halloween events are already underway in the Salt Lake area with pumpkin patches, corn mazes and haunted houses in full swing. Halloween is the second busiest holiday of the year, and there's plenty of fun for everyone from three-year-olds in their princess and pirate costumes to die-hard horror fans looking for the biggest scares. Some of my favorite SLC Halloween events are Frightmares, when Lagoon amusement park in Farmington gets dressed up for Halloween, "Thriller," a scary, funny and amazing dance revue by Odyssey Dance Theatre, and Cornbelly's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Fest at Thanksgiving Point. I'm also looking forward to the new adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula at Pioneer Memorial Theatre starting Friday, Oct. 22.Click on the link for a full list of Salt Lake area Halloween events and start planning your holiday fun.
